One search does not fit all – diversify and create traveler persona rules for Bargain Finder Max

by Diane Dunigan

It’s true, one search does not fit all. As an example, search criteria for leisure travelers differ from a corporate travelers search criteria, e.g. a leisure traveler may value the absolute lowest fare regardless of connection time while a business traveler may want to see more nonstop flight offers.

Sabre’s new Air Shopping Rules Manager makes it easier to break out of the one search fits all mode. You can now create traveler persona rules based on multiple schedule and fare search attributes. Once the rule is created, it is then added to the Bargain Finder Max query and the results are filtered based on the persona rule criteria.

Check out the Air Shopping Rules Manager user guide and get started on creating persona-based rules to find the best offers for your travelers! Please be sure you’re logged in to Dev Studio, and note, only users with valid permission rights will be able to view the user guide.
